Murat Yatagan is a seasoned Product and Growth Strategy leader with over 15 years of experience scaling global digital businesses. He is the Founder of Fokal, a premier consulting firm that has been up and running for 10+ years. Through Fokal, Murat has advised over 100 companies, ranging from early-stage startups to established enterprises, helping them build sustainable growth engines and optimize their digital presence.

Before founding Fokal, Murat held key leadership roles at some of the world's most influential tech companies. He served as VP of Growth at Brainly, where he built high-performing teams and led the platform’s massive expansion from 80 million to 400M MMUs. Prior to that, he was a Director at Global Savings Group and spent five years at Google as a Senior Product Analyst in the Search Quality team, where he ensured the integrity of Google’s search results.

A trusted voice in the industry, Murat is currently a mentor and trusted advisor for Google, specifically selected to guide AI First startups in MENA+T acceleration programs.

Murat’s expertise is backed by a rigorous academic foundation. He holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management, and his academic successes include graduate studies at Stanford University. He frequently shares his knowledge as a Judge for Global Search Awards and as a speaker at international industry conferences.
