Skilled SEO professionals always find a way to reach their goals

What is the most common SEO myth that needs to be debunked?

The most common myth lately is that AI-generated content is bad. In some cases, we can create much better and more valuable content using AI prompts than giving it to a copywriter. Large language models like ChatGPT can save us time and money. Imagine manually crawling a site without tools like Screaming Frog or Semrush — writing an article by hand is the same when similar tools are available.

If you could give one piece of SEO advice to beginners, what would it be?

Don’t get discouraged if your website isn’t climbing up the SERPs right away. Keep executing your full SEO plan and focus more on the data in Google Search Console than on specific keyword positions.

What’s the first thing you do when starting a new SEO project?

A business meeting with the client. The most important thing is to understand the client’s needs and figure out what your role is in their business model. If you're working on an internal company site, the first step is always research — researching the niche, keywords, competition, their SEO metrics, and their content.

What is the biggest SEO mistake you see businesses making often?

I’d like to point out two common mistakes:

  1. Uploading content into the site without any clear plan. They’ve heard somewhere that new content is good, so they just write meaningless blog posts. The biggest problem is that they often overuse the main target keywords on the website’s pages, which leads to cannibalization and a loss of rankings and traffic.
  2. The other mistake is the lack of patience and trust in the SEO agency. This is mainly due to all the SEO charlatans who promise rankings, deadlines, charge low fees, and do nothing.

What is the most valuable lesson you've learned from a failure in an SEO project?

Google is an ecosystem, and we are just small entities trying to do something within it. Don’t blame yourself for a failure in a project. Failures are always temporary. Skilled SEO professionals always find a way to reach their goals.
